For over two decades, Stephanie Layne has worked the soil and studies plants as an herbalist and horticulturist. This has instilled both a deep reverence for tending the land organically and for sharing the historic traditions of her roots. It is her passion to create authentic, purely natural, & clean wellness offerings for the community.
THISTLE BEE TEA
Beautifully handcrafted teas and potent herbal remedies have been offered through Thistle Bee Tea Co. since 2018. Although, Stephanie had been creating and sharing remedies with friends and family for years before.
THE ROOT & THE MOON
Originally, skin and body care options were offered through Thistle Bee, but as we evolved The Root & The Moon came into existence. Small batch, nutrient-rich botanicals for skin & body care are available through The Root & The Moon Botanicals.
RECONNECTING
The ritual of sharing a pot of tea creates a deeper connection to the plants and to the people we are sharing it with. Fostering that connection is becoming even more important to us as a society. Our tea parties and educational gatherings are designed to bring people and plants together in celebration of tradition, learning, and community.

We've been blending magic and medicinal herbs since 2018. Each flower, herb, and leaf are carefully harvested by hand or researched and responsibly sourced by Stephanie.
