How to Brew Thistle Bee Teas

Use Fresh Water: Always start with cold, fresh water. Filtered if possible.

Preheat Your Teapot or Cup: Preheat your pot with hot water. This helps protect it & helps maintain a consistent temperature.

Mind the Water Temperature: Different teas need different temps.

Steeping Time Matters: Don’t over-steep as it can turn your tea bitter.

Measure Your Tea: A general guide is 1 tsp of loose leaf per 8 oz of water

Re-Steeping: You can re-steep your tea leaves up to 3 times within 24 hours for 3 cups per bag or tsp of herbs.

General Water Temp Guidelines

Green Tea: Water Temp: 185 degrees

Steep 3-4 mins

Black Tea: Water Temp” 200 degrees

Steep 3-4 mins

Oolong Tea: Water Temp: 195 degrees

Steep for 3-4 minutes

Herbal Tea: Water Temp: 185-200 degrees

Steep 5+ mins (or don’t take it out)
